AFRICA | AMERICAN STORIES: IDENTITY AND DREAMS

Personal History

I come from a beautiful country.
A beautiful family.
My country is beautiful with its trees, fruits, and vegetables.
My family is charming.
My country has loads of flowers.
I come from a brave family.
I can prove that because in 1988
when I was 3 years old the buildings were moving and falling.
I come from a family that is fearless.
I come from a country that has many languages.
It was once as beautiful as the sky with many, many rivers.
I come from a country that is at war.
