Size: females and males 8.5-15 kg (19-33 lbs).

Habitat: Tropical and sub-tropical forests .

Primary prey: Rodents, amphibians, reptiles, and insects.

Conservation Status: Vulnerable.

Principal threats: Loss of habitat due to deforestation; illegal hunting.

Distribution: From northern India to southeast Asia, including Sumatra.

Notable Features: The habits of this rare cat are not well known, but it is probably nocturnal.
