CATS! WILD TO MILD | MAIN

"Cats! Wild to Mild," is a traveling exhibit, and is not currently at the Natural Histoy Museum of Los Angeles County.

The traveling exhibition "Cats! Wild to Mild," sponsored by Friskies PetCare Company and the National Science Foundation combines information on cat mythology, biology, behavior, conservation, and responsible pet care.

The exhibition will travel throughout the United States, Canada, and other selected locations. Please call (213) 763-3466 or E-mail us at info@nhm.org for the location nearest you or if you're interested in bringing the exhibition to your city.

Highlights of the exhibit include interactive displays and dioramas featuring more than 19 feline species from around the world, including jaguars, lions, tigers, leopards, bobcats, and wild cats, as well as a skeleton of a cheetah.

Because we understand that some people will be unable to visit the exhibition or might like to take more time to explore the material, we bring you the "Cats! Wild to Mild" web site.

Much of the content from the exhibit is presented in these pages, as well as the complete Teacher's Study Guide that accompanies the exhibition. We hope you enjoy your visit, whether it is "real" or "virtual."

Filled with "purrfect" fun, this exciting new exhibition traces the natural history of the cat from wild, exotic felines to America's number one pet.

Visit the Cats Wild to Mild Member's Web Site. Ask questions of other feline enthusiasts. Make friends!
