Sample Inventory

Each of our 29 Classroom Collections contain approximately 200 items from three themes: Science, Social Science, and Cultural Studies.  Below is a real example of a classroom collection.   Click on each theme to see what comes with the collection:

Science
Taxidermied mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, marine life, articulated skeletons, mineral and rock sets, insect mounts and fossils including specimens from The La Brea Tar Pits.

Social Science
Artifacts and models from Native American cultures and American History including New World exploration, colonial life, westward movement, The California Gold Rush, mission and rancho life.

Cultural Studies
Artifacts and folk crafts from various cultures throughout the world.
