Teaching Trunks
Egyptian Mysteries
One of our newest Teaching Trunks, Egyptian Mysteriesis an invaluable resource to teachers in lesson plans about ancient and world civilizations or Egyptian history and culture. Taking students beyond the pictures in their textbooks, the artifacts included in the Teaching Trunk show the detail and beauty of Egyptian art in a way that pictures cannot. Activities included in the educator’s notebook are designed to give students a way to understand archeology by becoming a part of it and provide a glimpse into Egyptian culture with activities like “Make a Cartouche” and “Mummify a Chicken.”
