Teaching Trunks
Masters of the Ocean Realm: Whales, Dolphins, and Porpoises

The Masters of the Ocean Realm Teaching Trunk is a peek into the world of marine mammals whose intelligence is believed to rival that of humans. Extensive information about whales, dolphins, and porpoises is included along with a few games designed to inform students about the actual physical structure of marine life. Small-scale models are provided for students to handle in addition to exhibits of their biological traits. There are also some replicas of tools used by native peoples to hunt whales, the only people in the United States who are currently allowed to do so.
