In collaboration with the staff of Red Rock Canyon State Park
we have created an enduring, mutually beneficial relationship between the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California State Park. This partnership benefits the science of vertebrate paleontology, enhances the programs in the State Park system, and increases the public’s appreciation of the natural resources of California.
We thank
Ron Krueper, District Superintendent,
Tehachapi District, California State Parks, for support and encouragement; Ranger Yvonne Heuston for help with logistics; Carrie Bemis for permission to conduct paleontological research in the State Park; Mark Faull, former Red Rock Canyon State Park Ranger for his many years’ of collaboration.
