Iguanodontid

Camptosaurus

Camptosaurus means 'bent' or 'flexible reptile'. This name is given because Camptosaurus would have to have bent its back in order to graze on all fours. A member of the family Camptosauridae, Camptosaurus lived from the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous periods. It was a vegetarian dinosaur around 21ft long, with short arms and long legs. Around 10 specimens have been excavated in North America and western Europe.
