Ornitholestes or 'bird robber' was a coelurosaur of the Late Jurassic period. Its remains have been found in Wyoming, USA. This animal was a two-legged lightly built 6ft long carnivore. It had small teeth and weak forelimbs with three clawed hands. It was a fast runner and may have eaten small lizards, frogs and mammals.
