Welcome to the Natural History Museum

The pricing for the Natural History Museum is based on the area, or combination of areas, you want to use for your event, and your guest count. Each event rental includes:

  • A 1-year, VIP membership to the Natural History Museum Family of Museums (to include the Natural History Museum, the George C. Page Museum and the William S. Hart Museum). *
  • Rental of the space from 6pm-11pm
  • Use of in-house banquet and dining tables.
  • Staffing, to include security, housekeeping, operations and event management
  • 100 parking spaces
  • All taxes and service charges

* Not applicable for existing Fellows, Corporate Partners, Educational and Non-Profit Groups

Discovery Center:
Give your guests, both big and small, the opportunity to visit our Discovery Center and Insect Zoo and interact with a full staff of Gallery Interpreters to answer all of their questions.

Invite your guests to explore the vaults and experience one of the most unique gem collections in the country

Gift Shop:
Unique gifts from our Museum Store will help your guests remember the big night! Give us your per person budget and we can help you order party favors for your guests – or, keep it open for your event and let them shop on their own.
$300 minimum
Living Dinosaur Encounter:
Have a T.rex walk through your cocktail party…or a Triceratops in your wedding party! Amazing, one-of-a-kind dinosaurs can be a part of your event – and make the experience something your guests will never forget.
$1500 each

Other Fees

Catering: 10% surcharge for outside catering – please let us know if you have special needs (i.e. Kosher, Jainist, etc.)
Furniture: $100 fee for use of Museum chairs
Events past 11pm:      0-250 guests:   $400/hour
250-400 guests:   $500/hour
400-500 guests:   $600/hour
Additional Parking: Additional parking available in adjacent lots. Effective January 1, 2009, the rates will be as follows:
  • Self-pay: $10/car
  • Count & Bill / Valet: $12/car
  • Buses, trucks, etc.: $25/vehicle
