Julian C. Dixon Advocate Award

The Julian C. Dixon Advocate Award is an annual award that personifies the personal as well as professional qualities of Julian C. Dixon. Recipients of this award are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the pursuit of social justice and civic engagement to the people Los Angeles. The work of the awardees must address under served populations in Los Angeles in the fields of arts and culture, education, the environment, law and politics. The recipient of this award is selected from submissions to the Julian C. Dixon Advocate Award Committee.
