The Museum holds 33 million irreplaceable objects, encompassing the disciplines of Anthropology, Biology, Geology, and History and covering 4.5 billion years of the earth's history.
In the 87 years since the institution was founded, it has become one of the world’s leading museums in exhibitions, education and research. As The Museum continues to grow, it maintains its tradition of public service and developing innovative approaches to museum practice.
