ENTOMOLOGY \ Volunteers

Volunteer Opportunities
[see Entomology Associates] An extra pair of hands and eyes is always needed and we would be happy to welcome you to our facilities if you have an interest in insects and some time to donate.  A variety of tasks suitable for the beginner through retired professionals are available on a weekly, monthly or annual need.  We can teach you while you help us with our never-ending backlog of work, including specimen preparation, labelling, sorting and electronic data- capture.  For those already on a career path in entomology, there are volunteer opportunities in our research programs.

Friends of Entomology
[see Friends] If your time is limited but you would like to support entomological studies and projects at the museum, you might consider becoming a member of our Friends network.  Tax deductible donations can be made that would support our fieldwork, curation of the collection, publication of our original research results, or the purchase of needed equipment.  If you would like to support a particular project but need more information, please let us know.
