Bertrandite usually occurs as a fine-grained replacement of beryl. Large distinct crystals are rare. This beautiful group of diverging bladed sprays is unusually fine for the species.
Size: 5.6 cm across
Acquired: 1993 Gem & Mineral Council purchase.
Disposition: Planned for display in the Systematic Mineralogy exhibit.
