MINERAL SCIENCES EXHIBITS: The E. Hadley Stuart, Jr. Hall of Gems and Minerals
MINERAL CLASSICS
Fourteen parallelogram-shaped display cases, two outside the entry to the Hall and twelve within, provide an astonishingly beautiful display of some of the finest minerals in the collection. Old and new classics are presented from a dramatically twisted wire silver from Kongsberg, Norway, to a shocking red rhodochrosite from Black Rock, South Africa. There is also a special display of some of the best specimens from the Bandy mineral collection.
