This fine cluster of gold crystals was once mounted as a stick-pin. Note the well-formed pyramidal crystal at the top. This shape, known as an octahedron, is commonly displayed by gold crystals.

Acquired: 1968 donation from Dr. Mildred J. Groesbeck.
Disposition: On display in the Gold exhibit.
