How do I get plug-ins?
A plug-in is a special accessory needed to help a program run with a particular application. In order to view this program you need the MacromediaŽ Shockwave plug-in. Click on the MacromediaŽ logo to download the plug-in. If you are unable to download the plug-in, you may not be able to fully access the interactive portion of this CD-ROM.
How do I set my computer memory to run the program? (Macintosh users)

For optimal performance, Macintosh users should allocate at least 18MB of memory to the browser application they are using and turn on virtual memory. (Be sure to close the browser application before you try to adjust memory.)

Allocate memory to an application: Highlight the application icon, go to "File" > Get Info and a control panel pops up. Select " memory" and allocate 18000K in the "preferred" field.

To turn on virtual memory: Under Apple Menu Items>Memory, you can select the Virtual Memory "On" radial button.

Macintosh Users

The best way to view our new site is at 640 x 480 or bigger pixel screen resolution displaying thousands of colors. Screen resolution, and color depth is controlled by your operating system and by the type of monitor you have. Also some browsers can collapse or turn off toolbars to increase viewable window size.

If you are running Microsoft® Windows®95, Windows®98 or Windows NT® you can easily change your screen resolution by clicking on the Start icon and selecting Control Panel from the menu that appears. From the window that appears select Display. Now, select the Settings tab. Within that window you will see a setting called Display Area. Adjust your screen resolution to 640 x 480 or greater. Below that is your color depth control, set it to thousands of colors.

If you are on a Macintosh, use the Apple® Powerstrip bar to adjust the resolution and color depth using their respective controls on your strip. Or, from the Apple menu select "Control Panels" and then "Monitors & Sound" to change your screen resolution and color depth.
