Rules, Restrictions and Reservations: 
  • Reservations are required, we recommend no less than 8 weeks in advance;
  • Payment, in full, must be received no later than 2 weeks from the date of your event; 
  • Parties are recommended for ages 5 through 10. No activity add-ons are available for children outside of that age range;
  • Your party time is 11am to 1pm. You may arrive up to one hour early to set up and up to one hour after the party to clean up. Use of this party area outside the 10am to 2pm window is not permitted.
  • No food or drink is permitted inside the museum galleries;
  • No decoration items are allowed inside the museum galleries;
  • Parents are encouraged to bring a birthday cake, snacks, or favors and/or additional decor
  • No helium balloons or streamers allowed anywhere inside the museum;
  • No live animals;
  • There is no on-site storage available.  Neither the Natural History Museum nor any member of its staff is responsible for any items left behind.
