Grand Centennial Celebration:

The year 2013 marks the 100th anniversary of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County!
Join us for cocktails in the new Nature Gardens and a preview of the new Nature Lab and Otis Booth Pavilion. Then venture inside for an exquisite dinner experience with a menu designed by celebrity chefs. When the last course is served, the After Party dessert reception will kick off with a spectacle of light, sound, and color, celebrating our 100th anniversary and unveiling the glorious new Otis Booth Pavillion.

Witness the grand unveiling of the new Otis Booth Pavilion along with a spectacle of light and sound. Sample complimentary cocktails and sweet treats as you explore the NEW NHM. Mingle with NHM experts at "presentation bars" where science is what's on tap!
Be the first guests to see the new Nature Lab and Nature Gardens while you dance the night away to DJs, under the glow and shadow of our fin whale.

100th Birthday Bash

NHM is officially 100 years old! Join us for a day-to-night celebration featuring our new Nature Gardens and Nature Lab. Bring your family to kick off summer with kid-friendly activities, workshops in the gardens, behind-the-scenes collection tours with our scientists and musical entertainment from The Ranger Band and Rhythm Child. Nature after dark is even more fun, so join JPL’s Adam Steltzner for a discussion about Mars curiosity Rover, visit food trucks, and take garden tours, DJs Raul Campos, Anthony Valadez and Canyon Cody will be in the Mammal Halls, and see outdoor shows with DEVO and GZA/The Genius IN CONCERT!
