NHM Next | Natural History Museum of Los Angeles

NHM Next is an institution-wide transformation. It includes several new exhibits (Age of Mammals, Dinosaur Mysteries, and Under the Sun), and a new way of thinking about our collections and research that takes into account the processes of science and "big picture" issues such as climate change and evolution.

Where Are the Dinosaurs?

Our new dinosaur hall opens in summer 2011. In the meantime, get more dino exposure by visiting the special specimens on Level 2 diorama hall. Also, don't forget to take pictures of the life-size specimens in our Grand Foyer on Level 1 and their "fleshed out" counterparts outside the Museum, on Exposition Boulevard. Learn more >
