Sometimes people think there is no nature in a big city like Los Angeles. But there is, and the more you know how to look at it, the more nature you’ll see. The L.A. Nature Fest is perfect for everybody – whether you’re a hiking machine or you barely go outside – because it celebrates the city’s surprising wildlife in fun ways. You’ll be blown away by the plants, the animals, their incredible survival stories, the best ways to see them, and the people devoted to protecting and studying them. L.A. Nature Fest unfolds in our very own Nature Gardens, which are great because they’re easy to explore, but they’re also an active research site – a place where our scientists do real research and our educators explain nature’s coolest stories. Each day will be filled with performances, hands-on workshops and tours. You won’t believe what’s out there! #lanaturefest
