Corporate and foundation support is of vital importance to the Natural History Family of Museums. The generosity of corporate and foundation donors makes our wide range of educational programs, workshops and exhibits possible, which helps us fulfill our mission to “inspire wonder, discovery and responsibility for our natural and cultural worlds.” Whether it is corporate membership, program support, or an exhibition sponsorship, we look forward to working with you to learn about your organization's priorities and interests.
This is an especially exciting time to get involved with the Natural History Museum as we are in the height of the NHM Next Campaign and have recently opened three major exhibition spaces in our historic 1913 Building in Exposition Park — the Rotunda Age of Mammals and our new world-class Dinosaur Hall. In 2012 the Museum will be opening another new exhibit dedicated to the past, present and future of Los Angeles, with emphasis on the intersection of nature and culture. Construction is also currently underway on our Nature Gardens. This 3.5-acre learning gardens and park will allow visitors to escape to nature and learn about the world around them. The learning will continue inside in the new Nature Lab, a place where visitors and researchers will interact, melding the excitement of discovery in the Nature Gardens with the real science happening at the Museum.
