Rose Parade Float VIP Field Trip
In December 2011, NHM Fellows were invited to tour the Phoenix Decorating Company warehouse and Rose Parade float construction facility in Pasadena, CA. There, they enjoyed a sneak peek of the NHM's first-ever Rose Parade float, featuring three dinosaurs from the Museum's new Dinosaur Hall, and learned what goes into constructing and decorating these world famous floats.
