VIP Receptions
Fellows are often the first to view our newest collections and exhibits at VIP celebrations. Time travel with us as we step back in history for the unveiling of the restored 1913 Building and the openings of Age of Mammals, Dinosaur Mysteries and Under the Sun galleries. Each opening has an eye on the future as we present the past in a progressive manner. Fellows are sure to enjoy the ride!

Eleven Years in Tibet
Saturday, February 27
Join Museum donors Joel and Sherry Siegel for an intimate evening with Dr. Xiaoming Wang, Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology. Dr. Wang will present on his field workk from the Tibetan Plateau, where he and his team have excavated each year for the past eleven years. Find out how spectacular rise of the Himalaya Mountains had a profound effect on the global climate and how ancient mammals and fishes evolved in response to the dramatic environmental change.
