Staff Biographies
Christina Lutz, Excavator
I graduated with a BFA from Tufts University in MA. However a long time interest and a new found passion for paleontology brought me to volunteer here in the Fishbowl Lab and at the Project 23 excavation. I volunteered a couple days a week for over 2 years and now work as a part-time excavator. I am thrilled to be part of the team uncovering some of the most amazing fossils right here in the middle of Los Angeles. I also love the detail careful preparation and microfossil sorting as well as the opportunities working at the museum affords me such as expeditions to Mexico and Ecuador.
