This extraordinary national traveling exhibit is making its
world premiere at the Natural
History Museum in Los Angeles, California.
At the exhibit you will view extremely rare dinosaur eggs
from the largest dinosaur nesting site ever discovered. From
the "Badlands of Patagonia" to the pulse of a working paleo
lab, you'll be transported into the exciting world of dinosaur
detectives.
Join the expedition leader, Associate Curator Dr. Luis Chiappe,
and his international team of scientists as you search for
dinosaur eggs. Learn about the latest research in Argentina
and have the opportunity to see real dinosaur embryo specimens
and embryonic dinosaur skin -- the first ever discovered!
Be amazed at how these giant sauropods - the size of large
buses - grew from eggs the size of a grapefruit.
Highlights include real sauropod egg nests that are 80 million
years old and a working paleo lab where visitors can watch
scientists preparing dinosaur fossils. Visitors can even walk
beneath a full-scale model of a giant 100-foot titanosaur,
Argentinosaurus.
