Team Leader

The Team Leader must understand the overall goals of an expedition. With a knowledge of all the other disciplines, the Team Leader knows how to delegate the tasks to the right team member.

Sometimes, the Team Leader may be the recipient of misunderstandings between team members and have to do a little therapy in the field, as well.

The Team Leader also has the responsibility of reporting the donors who may finance an expedition. This can be good or bad, depending on how well the trip is going.
