Group Sales Admission Rates
These discounted group rates are available to groups of 10 or more with a reservation booked at least 72 hours in advance of your visit. Special exhibits, such as the Butterfly Pavilion and the Spider Pavilion, include an additional charge.
Adults: $10.25
Seniors: $7.50
Students: $7.50 (w/ college ID)
Youth (13-17): $6.75
Children (5-12): $4.25

Our New Car Park Is Open
Our newly-opened Car Park is on the southeast corner of Exposition Blvd. and Bill Robertson Lane, on the NHM campus. It is $8, and only cash is accepted. After you park, walk through the new native garden to the new outdoor ticket booth!
If our Car Park is full, parking is usually also available in lots throughout Exposition Park. These lots are $10 (though costs rise for special events) and are also cash only.

Group Visits
Something For Everyone
The Natural History Museum welcomes groups of all shapes and sizes, from summer camps and after school programs, to bus tours and college classes. With thousands of artifacts, specimens and unique items on display, the Museum is sure to fascinate everyone in your group!
Easily located just minutes from downtown Los Angeles, NHM offers a unique and fun-filled excursion. Be sure to visit the two Museum stores where you’ll enjoy a special discount on toys, apparel, one-of-a-kind jewelry, books and souvenirs. Have lunch at the NHM Grill or pre-order a box lunch to enjoy in the adjacent beautiful Rose Garden.
Take a Guided Tour or Go Behind the Scenes
You can explore the Museum on your own, take a private guided tour or even enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour where your group will see areas not accessible to the public. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more qualifying individuals with 72 hours advance notice. (Qualifying individuals are those people who would not normally be admitted free of charge. For example, Museum members, teachers, children 4 and younger, and military members would not count toward the 10 person minimum.)
A 50% deposit is required when booking the reservation and the balance is due upon arrival. Please visit the FAQ page for all the details about which group package is right for you.
Scheduling Your Visit
To schedule a group visit, you may use the online reservation system, e-mail us at groupsalesNH@nhm.org or contact the Group Sales Office at (213) 763-3218. Your group is welcome to visit the Museum anytime during normal visitor hours, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm, seven days a week.
If you would like to schedule a visit to the Insect Zoo, Butterfly Pavilion, or Spider Pavilion (additional ticketing for Pavilions), please call us at (213) 763-3218, as availability for these areas is limited and/or seasonal.
